At first you notice the blue and red colors, then two arrows. Letâs Digg a little more:
If we draw a few lines, we can now clearly see the âCâ of Carrefour in the center of the logo.
The blue arrow on the right side means âAlways Going Forwardâ
The red arrow on the left means âNever Step Backâ
Isnât a perfect Logo?
SO, WHAT SHOULD YOU CHECK BEFORE CREATING YOUR LOGO? HERE ARE THE FIFTH IMPORTANT POINTS:
Avoid any tiny line. When you reduce your logo for printing or for the web, those tiny lines tend to disappear. Think easy and simple, avoid any complex design. More your logo looks simple. More it will be easier to catch it, to memorise and easy to use.
Itâs ok to use colors because is the only way to enhance your message but, black and white can make a great design too and will be good to print. Printing color can be expensive.
When you will choose the font for your logo, keep in mind that some font are just a âTendency Fontâ and the web or for the printing deal, not everybody will have this font.
Remaining in the classic fonts will keep you free of headache.
Your logo should be used with any support, texture, sizes. Ask samples with different supports, sizes and materials to verify the efficacy and efficiency of your logo.
I said originality. It doesnât mean fancy! To avoid any problem with the law, check with your local INPI that your logo doesnât copy an existing one. Try to be unique and original.
A last advice, use your logo as much as you can, letters, web, printing, business cards, on the companyâs car etc. use it systematically. Donât abuse, perhaps a good use of your logo will bring back to you a good deal and money, your logo will reinforce your imageâs company.
